Search for Athletes
Search for athletes who have Lightning for Players & Parents. When you add them to your roster, you can manage their clearance status and include them in exports.

Add by Email
Don't see the athlete in search? Add them by email. If they already have an account, they'll be asked to confirm joining your roster. If they don't have one yet, they'll get a "your account is waiting for you" invitation to create their profile and join.
Bulk CSV Import
STANDARD+Upload a CSV file to add multiple athletes at once. Athletes with existing profiles are linked immediately. Athletes without profiles receive an email invitation to register.
CSV Format
Upload a CSV with columns: email (required), first_name (optional), last_name (optional), grad_year (optional), sport (optional)

Up to 500 athletes per import. Duplicate emails in the same file are skipped.
How It Works
Athletes must first create a Lightning Player Profile. Once they have a profile, you can search for them and add them to your roster.
Privacy Protected
Athletes control their own profiles. Adding them to your roster gives you clearance management access but doesn't affect their profile visibility settings.
Bulk Import
Upload a CSV file with athlete emails to quickly add multiple athletes at once. Available for Standard and Pro tier schools.
