Why do I need to be verified?

Lightning is built around player safety. Many of the athletes you’ll search for and message are minors, so before we give any coach access to player profiles and messaging, we confirm you’re a real coach at a real program.

A team or organization website lets us verify you in seconds. If you don’t have one, you can upload verification documents instead — it just takes a little longer to review.
